On the morning of December 31, Doan Hung District Police held a ceremony to announce the Decision on the organization and personnel of the Commune and Town Police. Implementing Decision No. 9110/QD-BCA-X01 dated December 13, 2024 of the Minister of Public Security on the arrangement and consolidation of communes and towns in Phu Tho province in the period of 2025 - 2023. At the ceremony, the representative of the District Police announced and presented the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the arrangement and consolidation of commune and town police; Decision of the Director of the Provincial Police on the arrangement and mobilization of commune and town police command. This is a particularly important basis for the construction and organization of the apparatus of the centralized police force, aiming to streamline the focal points, operate effectively and efficiently, strengthen the force for the grassroots; contribute to promoting socio-economic development, meeting the requirements of security tasks, social order and safety; well serving the needs of the people.

Accordingly, Doan Hung district reorganized 22 commune-level police units into 14 commune and town police units. The apparatus of the new commune and town police units includes: Hung Long, Chan Mong, Chi Dam, Doan Hung town, Yen Kien, Bang Doan, Ngoc Quan, Tay Coc, Bang Luan, Ca Dinh, Phu Lam, Hop Nhat, Phuc Lai and Hung Xuyen.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council emphasized that the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and commune-level and town-level police is one of the correct and effective policies; he requested that Doan Hung District Police, immediately after stabilizing the organization, continue to focus on closely monitoring and forecasting the situation, effectively implementing plans and measures to fight and prevent plots and sabotage activities of hostile forces; proactively advise authorities at all levels to implement plans to ensure absolute safety for the Lunar New Year 2025; Strengthen mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas, regularly disseminate and educate the law so that all people can grasp and voluntarily implement it. Continue to build and deploy the people's security posture combined with the national defense posture; focus on building and consolidating the great national unity bloc; regularly build and replicate self-management models of security and order. For the Commune Police Commanders, it is necessary to do a good job of advising the leaders of the People's Committees of the communes, taking advantage of their attention and support in terms of facilities, creating a working environment for regular police officers and soldiers to ensure that they meet the requirements of their tasks. Advise the commune authorities to direct departments, unions, social organizations and residential areas to coordinate well with the Commune Police force to maintain security and order in the commune.
