On the morning of February 3, 2025 (ie January 6, At Ty year), together with localities in the whole province, Doan Hung district organized the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" Spring At Ty 2025 at the Cultural Park - entertainment, recreation and sports venue in Tan Tien area, Doan Hung town. Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Van Phuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; comrade Nguyen Van Van - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; comrade Nguyen Duc Luong - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, members of the District Party Committee Executive Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions, units under the District Party Committee, District People's Committee; leaders of the Party Committee, authorities of communes and towns, along with a large number of people, cadres, teachers and students of Doan Hung town.

Following Uncle Ho's teaching "Spring is the season for tree planting, making the country more and more springy", in recent years, along with promoting socio-economic development, Doan Hung district has always paid attention to preserving the environment, protecting ecosystems, promoting afforestation, planting trees, shade trees to create landscapes, towards green and sustainable growth. On average, each year, the whole district plants about 1,200 hectares of concentrated forests, 240 scattered trees, and cares for and protects over 13,000 hectares of forests. Developing forest areas not only contributes to greening bare hills and mountains but also creates a clean environment, improving people's health.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Van - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee called on Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, units, socio-political organizations, economic organizations, armed forces, communes, towns and people of all ethnic groups in the district to actively respond to the Project "planting one billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025" launched by the Prime Minister.

Immediately after the ceremony, Doan Hung district will actively direct and implement the plan to plant 1,100 hectares of concentrated forests, plant and convert 100 hectares of large timber forests, plant scattered trees in public works, parks, along traffic routes, in agencies and units with over 170 thousand trees. At the same time, continue to do a good job of forest management, protection and development with the aim of both increasing the economic value of forests and protecting and developing a sustainable forest environment; promote the application of intensive production forests, improve productivity, quality and economic efficiency in forestry production and forest hill economy.

At the tree planting campaign in the spring of At Ty 2025, the leaders of Doan Hung district planted Lagerstroemia and Taiwan Banyan trees at the Cultural Park - a recreational, entertainment and sports venue of Doan Hung town.
