On the morning of January 23, 2025, the National Military Service Council (NVQS) of Doan Hung district held a conference to implement the plan for the 2025 Military Recruitment and Handover Ceremony. The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Vấn, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, and Chairman of the NVQS Council. Also in attendance were Mr. Nguyễn Anh Hùng, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; Colonel Nguyễn Tiến Cường, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Commander of the District Military Command; members of the NVQS Council; leaders of relevant agencies and units; and the NVQS councils of communes and towns.

Conference Overview

According to the plan, the 2025 Military Recruitment and Handover Ceremony will take place on February 13, 2025 (the 16th day of the first lunar month of the year Ất Tỵ) at the district Conference Center square. At this time, the NVQS Council has issued conscription orders to 100% of eligible citizens and has completed the assigned recruitment target.

During the conference, after hearing the District Military Command's coordination plan with relevant agencies and units, delegates actively discussed and contributed ideas to ensure thorough preparation for the ceremony. The focus was on promoting public awareness about the responsibilities of military service, developing a cultural program to bid farewell to new recruits, and ensuring that the 2025 Military Recruitment and Handover Ceremony is conducted solemnly and successfully.

In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the District People's Committee and Chairman of the NVQS Council instructed the District Military Command and relevant agencies to work closely together in preparation for the event. He emphasized that the ceremony must follow official guidelines, be conducted in an orderly, safe, and efficient manner, and serve as a meaningful event to educate and inspire young people about their duty to the nation. The goal is to achieve 100% of the assigned recruitment target and ensure that the event becomes a festival for the youth, encouraging them to continue the tradition of serving and defending the country.

The Chairman assigned specific tasks to NVQS Council members, departments, and organizations, focusing on citizen management, motivation, security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, venue decorations, and organizing visits to and encouragement for the recruits and their families. Additionally, he stressed the importance of implementing military service policies effectively to help young recruits feel secure as they embark on their service to the nation.
