Doan Hung District Actively Implements Civil Status Data Digitization

In response to the directive from the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee to accelerate the digitization of civil status records in the province, the People's Committee of Doan Hung District has recently implemented various synchronized measures across the district. A plan for civil status data digitization was issued, and a Task Force for Civil Status Data Digitization was established by the district authorities.

Recognizing this as a key priority, the District People's Committee has directed communes and towns to allocate human resources, equipment, and necessary conditions to expedite the digitization process, aiming to complete the task by December 15, 2024. A high-intensity campaign was launched to mobilize efforts for this task. According to a report from the Task Force, after more than two weeks of implementation, significant progress has been made, with nearly 70,000 records digitized out of a total of 86,984, achieving 80% completion. Four communes (Soc Dang, Minh Tien, Yen Kien, Phuc Lai) have fully completed the digitization of civil status records as required.

During on-site inspections at localities and units, Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Van Van emphasized the importance of this task in administrative reform. He noted that resolving administrative procedures through electronic platforms has positively shifted the awareness of officials and citizens regarding civil status management. To further accelerate the digitization process, he urged localities to enhance communication efforts, provide necessary support in terms of equipment, internet connectivity, and manpower to ensure accurate and efficient data digitization.

Additionally, the Chairman encouraged and motivated the personnel working on the task at the grassroots level while commending the communes that completed their assignments ahead of schedule.
